South Hackney Radio The South Hackney Institute of Technology Student Radio Station Broadcasting from the Basement of the Marvin Zindler School of Deconstructive Journalism and hair care products - URGENT PRESS RELEASE - SOUTH HACKNEY RADIO PROGRAME OFFERS CASH REWARD FOR ZIMBABWEAN PRESIDENT FOR LIFE, Dr. ROBERT MUGABE, ALIVE.
The South Hackney Radio’s weekly musical show, “Music for Pet Rats” has made an unprecedented offer of a reward, to be paid in cash, for the live capture of Zimbabwean Dictator and President for Life Dr. Robert Mugabe, payable on delivery to its studio in South Hackney. The offer, made on the evening broadcast of July 3rd, 2008, by DJ Shlomo Patel. A reward of Twenty Seven US Dollars, ($27.00) in cash, is offered for Zimbabwean Dictator and President for Life Dr. Robert Mugabe's live capture, payable on delivery to the station’s studio in the basement of the Marvin Zindler School of Deconstructive Journalism and hair care products, on the campus of the South Hackney Institute of Technology. “The idea is to interview Dr Mugabe, live on the radio, then release him into the custody of Hackney Council Social Services for the care and treatment he needs” quoted DJ Patel. “If that is not possible, I believe Peter Tatchell may have room for him at his home”. During an after show interview, South Hackney Radio’s music director David Notarius, was quoted, “… I support our station's programmers becoming more pro-active in world events, which is why two dollars of the twenty seven us dollars offered as a reward, came out of my own pocket”. So far, there have been no takers of the offer, no reply from the Government of Zimbabwe, or any statement from the offices of Bethnal Green’s MP George Galloway.
