| Show Format Information for Submission |
| |
This is a brief guide for programme submission, a deplorable guide for our attractive Students, Broadcasters, Journalist and other semi Fungal Celebrity Algae Spore already in progress.
1. Submitted shows must be burned on to a regular music formatted CD. Do not format for MP3; we are not set up for them as of yet. If possible make two copies of the show. Remember, we are state of the art circa 1993 and all our equipment is third hand off of eBay. Check first with us if using any other format for recording. 2. Your radio shows should be either 30 or 60 minutes long. This makes it easy to program and play on the air. If show is longer, try to record in 1 hour or half hour parts on multiple cd’s that are marked which part they may be (Part 1 – Part 2 etc) 3. CD’s must be labelled with show name, programmer, and date recorded. Also how long the show is (i.e., 30 min 45min, 60 min, etc…) and what part it may be. 4. If pre recorded music is used, please provide a play list with name of song, artist, album name and record label. This helps the music director when trying to get new music for station and also for you. 5. Station I.D.: the official station I.D. or identification is the following: “This is South Hackney Radio, the student radio station of the South Hackney Institute of Technology”. This ID must be used on the cd, usually at the beginning of the show. Also ask for our memo (Air Rules for Broadcasters, Journalist and other Celebrity Mutants) 6. Show producers & South Hackney Radio jointly own copyright of shows submitted for play unless otherwise specified. 7. Content, well, that’s up to you! (ask for our memo On – Air Rules for Broadcasters, Journalist and other Celebrity Mutants) Thanks and enjoy the watching the oil paint dry!
